Child Neurology Consultants of Austin is located in the Pediatric Specialty Center in Cedar Park, Texas. We welcome infants, toddlers, adolescents, teenagers, and young adults up to 21 years old who need to be evaluated or treated for a neurological disorder. This includes any condition that affects the brain, nerves, or spinal cord, resulting in developmental delays, epilepsy, muscular dystrophy, and many other diagnoses.

What Else You Need to Know
Our regular office hours are 7:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of Child Neurology Consultants of Austin, and they will contact us.
If you have an urgent medical need and need to talk to our doctors after our regular hours, please call our office at (512) 494-4000. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day. Your call will be returned promptly.
If your insurance is an HMO/managed care plan and you are required to obtain a referral from your primary care physician, the referral must be obtained before you can be seen for an office visit.
Please coordinate this with your primary care physician in advance. Appointments will be rescheduled if required referrals are not received in the office by the time of your visit.
Doctors at Child Neurology Consultants of Austin are affiliated with most major hospital systems in Central Texas including Dell Children's Medical Center, St. David's HealthCare and Texas Children's Hospital.
Please call your pharmacy to request a prescription refill. If you need a hand-written triplicate prescription for scheduled or controlled pharmaceuticals, call our office at (512) 494-4000 to speak to a triage nurse.
Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Child Neurology Consultants of Austin are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
