Dear Patients and Families,

As many of you are already aware, I will be leaving Child Neurology Consultations of Austin (CNCA) and stepping down from the practice of medicine effective immediately. I regret this move very much, but I have developed some health issues that will prevent me from continuing as your doctor. I appreciate the concern that many of you have expressed, and I want to reassure you that these are chronic issues and not life-threatening.

I would like to reassure you as well that the work at CNCA will continue without other change. We have three locations and a dozen providers who will be able to care for your children. I have enormous respect for my partners, and I am confident that they will continue to provide you the highest level of neurological care. Please call our office at 512-494-4000, and the staff can help switch you to another provider with no interruption in your ongoing treatment. For children who have passed their eighteenth birthdays, the staff will also be happy to provide suggestions for adult Neurologists whom you might wish to see.

It has been the honor of my life to work with all of you and to be invited into your lives as a doctor. I wish you all the best.
