Jeffrey Kane, MD

Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Child Neurologist / Neurophysiologist

Dr. Jeffrey Kane graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with both an undergraduate and master’s degree in English literature. He later received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

Following an internship in internal medicine at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Dr. Kane completed a pediatrics internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He returned to Dallas for a child neurology residency, followed by a fellowship in neurophysiology at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

Dr. Kane most recently served as section chief of child neurology for Pediatric Specialty Services at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas. While at Dell Children’s, Dr. Kane was also chairman of the Medical Peer Review Committee and a member of the Medical Executive Committee.

In addition, Dr. Kane is co-founder and medical director of HEAL Kenya, a medical outreach program, and he serves as a clinical assistant professor of child neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School as well as faculty at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Kane is married with three children.
