Pediatrix Child Neurology Consultants of Austin is pleased to welcome Dr. Riddhiben Patel to our experienced team of headache and migraine experts.
Dr. Patel has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric headaches and migraines, as well as general neurology disorders. She offers the most advanced treatments for effectively managing headaches and migraines, including outpatient infusions and injections, and will see patients referred to our Headache and Migraine Specialty Program.
When describing her approach to patient care, Dr. Patel says she aims to provide friendly, comprehensive care to children and their families so they can have a better quality of life.
“I am excited to join a collaborative team of providers that work closely with patients and their families to provide evidence-based, patient-centric care,“ says Dr. Patel.
Dr. Patel earned her medical degree in Gujrat, India and came to the United States in 2007. She completed her pediatric residency at Brookdale University Hospital in New York, followed by a fellowship in pediatric neurology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Before joining CNCA, she served as the Headache Clinic Medical Director at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Patel enjoys cooking, dancing and traveling to new places with her friends and family.
