Lindsay Elton, MD

Dr. Lindsay Elton graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology. She pursued her medical education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and obtained her medical degree in 2002.
Dr. Elton completed her pediatrics residency at the Children’s Hospital of Austin, acting as chief resident from 2004-2005, followed by a child neurology fellowship with UT Southwestern Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Dr Elton was one of the physicians that started the Child Neurology Consultants of Austin (CNCA) practice in 2016.
Dr. Elton previously served as the medical director for child neurology at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center/St. David’s Children’s Hospital from 2016-2022. Dr Elton is the Program Director for the CNCA Comprehensive Headache and Migraine Program.
She is also a member of the American Headache Society and regularly attends meetings to stay abreast of the latest developments pertaining to kids and adolescents.
Dr. Elton is a native Austinite who is married and enjoys all the outdoor activities, dining, and arts that Austin has to offer. She also enjoys sewing, reading, and travel.
